Inspired and visionary, while also rooted in the practical, Otto Scharmer and Van Jones led a discussion on the urgency and potential ways of transforming the American economy. They outlined the emergence of new economic structures that embed social diversity, shared equity, and care for our fragile ecosystems and described the collective consciousness leading that emergence.
An awareness of the rapidly changing economic conditions gave urgency and edge to the discussion.
Scharmer and Jones spoke on Saturday, November 9th, in the Ballroom of the Essex House, Central Park South in New York City. The lecture program began at 10:00 am and concluded by 3:00 pm.
